Autoproyecto continues to superserve the Hispanic auto enthusiast by partnering with national broadcaster Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Dia morning news show to be the first to air coverage of the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Spanish.
The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is viewed as the world’s premier celebration of the automobile. In its 69-year history, it has evolved to become a showcase not only for the best vintage cars, but also as a platform to debut new or future cars.
“We are very excited to have partnered with Telemundo to bring the first ever coverage of Pebble Beach, said Camilo Alfaro,” Autoproyecto Founder and CEO. “We did the same from the Tokyo Motor Show and we plan to bring more world class coverage of automotive events to the Hispanic community, showing a growing demand for in-language automotive industry news.”
The news segment, featuring Javier Mota, Features Editor and NACTOY Juror, had a duration of 2:50 minutes. It highlighted the influence of the Concours in both vintage and concept vehicles. Most notably, the Genesis Mint was featured for its innovative design reframing compact urban luxury vehicles.
“Hispanics have a huge appetite for automotive news, be it for vintage, new or concept vehicles,” added Alfaro. “They are just as passionate about cars as the general market. What has been lacking are in-language sources of news.”
