Celebrating Five Years of Broadcasting Worldwide Auto Show Coverage

LOS ANGELES (March 26, 2020) Autoproyecto is celebrating five years of Spanish-language broadcast service, providing U.S. Hispanics with quality automotive news and information from the worlds most prestigious automotive shows.

This year Autoproyecto will continue to develop and distribute exclusive auto-enthusiast content for NBC Telemundo’s top-rated morning show, Un Nuevo Dia and CNN en Español's business-focused, Dinero show.

"Over the past five years, Autoproyecto has produced over 25 on-air segments and established itself as a trusted news source for Hispanic consumers," said Octavio Navarro, Autoproyecto CMO. "This service has become essential for our broadcast partners and participating automotive brands who seek quality and expert reporting in an authentic voice."

Each on-air segment reaches over 13M viewers in 215 markets in the U.S. alone, with both Telemundo and CNN shows broadcasting in dozens of additional international markets. The content is also hosted online where it is made available on multiple digital platforms.

The produced on-air segments typically cover the main auto shows in Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and New York have recently expanded to include exciting, ‘industry-first’ events for NBC Telemundo and CNN en Español such as: Tokyo, Geneva, Frankfurt and Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance.

With recent marketing and travel challenges posed by the COVID virus, the broadcast service allows for the production and distribution of critical, time sensitive automotive information. For example, although several recent auto shows have been cancelled and consumers are staying home, media consumption remains very high. This service can help meet the need to pre-packaged timely automotive information for on-air distribution around traditional auto show scheduling. The opportunity to serve consumers and provide current content and information to media outlets he’s never been greater.

Embracing its role as the leader in the Spanish-language automotive content space, Autoproyecto began its broadcast service in 2015, expanding into television to fill the gaping Spanish-language automotive news void and complement its website, Autoproyecto.com.
